Ho corso al Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance a Vallelunga 2020 per In Moto Con l'Africa e...

Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance, Vallelunga stage, season 2020. At forty this was my absolute debut in a race. In reality there is much more. Because in this story the protagonists are two: Marco and I. And if for me it was baptism on the grid, for him it was absolute baptism. So I also had to play the part of the expert.

Participate in the Fast Endurance: how the idea was born?

It all started because of my friend Marco who a 56 years had never been on the track, but he owed it to his aspirations as a kid. So we took overalls, helmet and boots (by the way, a big thank you so to Held e a Shark Helmets who have decided to support us) and we got involved.

Our aim was and remains to draw attention to the project In Moto With Africa, through which we can really change the lives of many people in the Black Continent and beyond for the better.

We needed a way, a metaphor to tell how together we can face all the hardest challenges, just like getting to a hospital in the jungle.

Taking to the track in a race without having tried anything like this before is a great challenge which, however, faced together becomes easier.

The Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance trophy immediately seemed to us the perfect formula to convey the message of In Moto con l'Africa because we race in pairs. A single bike for two riders who take turns driving every fifteen minutes.

It was just the metaphor we were looking for. A championship for gentlemen riders where even the aesthetics and the vintage riding setting of the bike have their weight as well as the festive atmosphere of a race between old friends with messes in the rider and bike change all rigorously the same.

I am convinced that an informed motorcyclist is a more aware motorcyclist and in his own small way he will act for a better world. For this reason, the articles and videos that I publish on Motoreetto.it are accessible to everyone and without advertising banners because the information must be open and shared.
I am doing it independently and it is allowed by the people who have decided to join my CLAN.
It would be fantastic if you also considered being part of it.
