VIAGGIO in PROVENZA e CAMARGUE con TRIUMPH T120 BONNEVILLE

The Provence It is a favorite destination of Italian riders and is not too difficult to guess at the reasons. In what is after all a short distance, we find a variety of ideal situations, abbastanza “esotiche” da farci sentire all’estero ma allo stesso tempo “di casa”.

Provence and motorcycles, perfect wedding

This is not the first time I go to Provence in motion. In the past I have boundless several times to raids longer or shorter on the French Riviera and the Alps, not to mention the famous Verdon Gorge, whose report continues a period of time to be one of the Top of this Blog.

But this time my goal was to build an itinerary that touch points of historic and artistic interest such as Aix en Provence, Arles, Avignon and to take me up in Camargue dove – con la moto – non ero ancora stato. Finally I wanted to take a peek at even Luberon Park.

A journey of a thousand

As I described in the article on the itinerary, la Provenza – o meglio la regione della Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur – è un territorio vasto che va dal Rodano fino ai nostri confini e offre una grande varietà di situazioni. A week is not enough to visit it all as it should be, pausing to know the town quietly (and shooting video!), but it is enough to test a good deal and do not want to go home.

With which bike I made the journey?

I faced this route from Milan, in to a saddle Triumph Bonneville T120 Black e… me ne sono innamorato. Below are the Video review after the 2.000 km along. It is a classic and beautiful bike that the immortal charm of Bonnie adds some features that are appreciated when doing tourism: sixth gear, greater torque at low, more powerful braking.

I can say that not only was a great companion, but He added an even more special taste this trip to Provence and offered a privileged point of view.

How to organize a trip to Provence?

You can pick up and leave without thinking too much about, certain to find forever the street and still a good place to stop to eat, sleep or take a picture.

Or you can study the map and find your preference.

Io ho fatto un po’ e un po’. That I scored points on the map I wanted to tell in the video, while the streets have given a blind eye to those who seemed the best compromise between driving time and taste but I let the route it would create along the way.

This is mainly because I have prioritized the need for video and tour of the city: forse non sembra ma girare un video come questo richiede anche diverse ore a piedi nei centri storici… 😀

Fundamental tools for the organization of the trip was for me the sites of local tourism organizations, all very rich in information and details. I was able to plan all the visits and activities. For convenience you share them below:

For all practical information about where to sleep or eat well, ti rimando all’article devoted more specifically to the itinerary. Not that I rest thank you for seeing the video and, If you liked, share it with your contacts!

Ci vediamo la prossima e mi raccomando… Gas, but responsibly!
