Kill that Adventure.

R 1200 GS Adventure 2014, it is already here. And it is big, very large.

The German tank has already been unveiled, the vertices of Monaco have preferred not to wait for the Milan Furniture Fair (so, those who expect the finest salons?) and have virtually brought the expected version Adventure the flagship R1200 GS. As expected and tradition, one year after the new GS, has now come the version off road richer than ever. The BMW R1200GS Adventure does not disappoint the expectations of those who wanted to exaggerated and reconfirms the top of the wish list of globe trotters: in short, as we have used in BMW, each edition of increasing size and electronic paraphernalia. Personally for adventurarmi somewhere, I would prefer something more slender and less redundant equipment in, but it certainly is THE perfect bike for traveling.

  • Application of the versatile concept of R 1200 GS with powerful and distinctive twin-cylinder Boxer engine and chassis agile, accompanied by an increase in off-road competence and suitability to deal with travel to distant lands.
  • Increased flywheel of the engine and vibration damper extra for greater ductility and better drivability.
  • Travel front and rear elongated 20 millimeters compared to R 1200 GS.
  • Increase in ground clearance of 10 millimeters compared to previous model.
  • Modified geometry of the longitudinal arm to further improve handling.
  • Sections of the fairing designed completely from scratch in a decidedly rugged and masculine, typical of the GS Adventure.
  • Tank volume 30 liters and autonomy comparable to that of the previous model.
  • ABS, ASC and two modes of driving range.
  • Three driving modes available as optional extra.
  • Semi-active suspension Dynamic ESA
  • (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) come optional.
  • Sella more comfortable, tilt adjustable.
  • Great adjustable windshield and deflectors (“flap”).
