BMW R1250 RS: what do I think later 1.000 km?

The R1250 RS is one of the best sport tourers on the market and one of BMW Motorrad's flagships, a high-level product. But what do I think next 1.000 km along?

I have spent the last two weeks in the company of BMW R1250 RS, the Bavarian RennSport.

I was very curious why, as much as I like the boxer engine, the RS is not my type. Or at least it's not at this time in my life… never say never! Surely a few years ago I would have appreciated much more the reactive but not extreme driving.

It represents an excellent compromise for those who want to travel fast, for those who perhaps come from super sports cars and want a more comfortable bike that can accommodate passengers and luggage, that can also adapt to slow gaits if necessary. The engine picks up beautifully practically from the minimum to the sixth and then pushes hard. The chassis as well as the electronics are of the highest level. In short, it is a premium motorcycle and it can also be understood from the price. Out of tune note? In my opinion, on everything I didn't like the handlebars because they are low and narrow, too closed. My taste...
