Atlanta Gloves Moto One, My Review

The Atlanta Moto One leather gloves are suitable for both the most demanding motorcycle tourist is the most practical daily commuter. Good workmanship and competitive price: I used them for two seasons, and I tell you how I found myself.

I was looking for a warm weather glove that wasn't too light and "weak" and in the glove collection Moto One I chose these Atlanta. Yup, in conclusion, I was looking for something more protective than a textile glove, but not too bulky or too hot. A travel glove and this Atlanta is.

I've been using them for over two seasons and now I can tell you all about them.

Atlanta summer leather motorcycle gloves moto one motoretto review after two years

What are they

I Atlanta gloves they are designed for the summer: when it's hot they don't make you sweat (troppo) your hands because while driving a little air passes through the small holes so you don't suffer. If you lower the temperature, being in leather, they maintain a fair amount of insulation. Sure if it's cold… you feel cold. So far the lowest temperature I have dropped to have been 4-5 degrees like when i was on Gardena Pass with the electric bike and I must say that at that point I would have preferred something warmer. However, I am not frozen. In winter, however, I use another pair of gloves eh! The highest temperature above 30 degrees in August and I could still slip them on without swearing.

How they are made

The Atlanta of Moto One they have protections on the knuckles and fingers and the interior is in lycra. I found them particularly practical – as indeed are in general Moto One products – and comfortable as fit. I liked the look that fits a bit with any bike and with all jackets, in both leather and fabric.

Personally it doesn't drive me crazy, but it is only an aesthetic question, the internal reinforcement with Moto One logos infinitely replicated, but I would say it is one quisquiglia.

The wrist closure it is very practical and fast, it adjusts even with gloves on without difficulty but is a bit weak. It remains a bit open when you want to tighten it and it can happen that you get inside by undoing it. This is a detail that Moto One should definitely improve.

The particular

On the thumb and forefinger we find two inserts “touch” in fabric that make it possible to use a touch-screen. A handy thing if you use, for example, your mobile phone as a navigator or if you have to stop to look for information and you are forced to take off your glove..

The proof of the facts, however,, this insert in reality it doesn't always work perfectly. The problem seems more than anything else to be the shape of the finger which is inevitably too big and it is not possible to apply the correct pressure in one point of the screen. Ultimately on screen it works once every other time. In addition, this insert is delicate and in intensive use deteriorates faster than the rest of the glove.

usury

Now, after two seasons, the touch insert is a bit’ nibbled and shows some thread. The rest of the glove, while showing signs of use, still appears in good condition. The skin on the top appears more discolored and ugly. I will change them as soon as I find a new model with similar characteristics, but I think they can still be used for at least another season.

How much do they cost?

The Atlanta gloves, with sizes from S to double XL, are sold to 50 Euro, a decidedly competitive price especially considering the good level of workmanship. Find them here.
