Honda MSX125, trip from Portland to Alaska

With Honda sua MSX125, Nathan went from Portland to Alaska. Outstanding enterprise? Not, but a starting point for adventurers with fog lights and bells and whistles that most stories to tell.

The Honda MSX125 – in the United States, better known as Honda Grom, a nickname much more sympathetic but who here would give rise to confusion gelataie – is one of the bikes have emerged in recent years that I prefer.

Yes you read that right.

I'm not crazy.

How can you not feel sympathy for the heir of the legendary modern Honda Monkey? And then that little mono horizontal as simple as generous and easy to prepare (But no you do not need to do eh!) is a tribute to minimalism and honest mechanics.

Small, perhaps too, to make inroads into the hearts of the motorcyclist Italic he aspires to SGAS in front of a bar in time for happy hour, in front of a high school or want to travel to the Alpine passes. Yet, this shorty with me to our feet we would start tomorrow (capito Honda? eh? we do not do a nice video?).

The basic concept is: the size of the bikes are directly or inversely proportional to those of the adventure? Or travel with a 125 4T with the wheels from 12 inches is just a pain?

From what tells Blog LaneSplitter of Jalopnik, get to Anchorage through Oregon, Washington, British Columbia has also been a lot of fun (I had no doubt about it). Nathan – that is not a fool seems – also has a large displacement bike more, but decided to go with this nanetta because it offers a unique driving experience.

Unfortunately l 'accessories for the Honda MSX125 scarce a bit ', so Nathan has adapted a box of plastic used for bottles of milk in the form of top case and loaded us on everything you need to make camping better than starting a Bavarian doc. When asked if they would do it again, good Nathan did not hesitate and replied "Absolutely".

E tu, where would you go on a Honda MSX125?

p.s.: If you like to see realized my experiment, help me to ask a Honda MSX to experience the adventure with #MiniMegaMoto on Twitter.
