New Piaggio Beverly 300 and 400: which one I choose?

Piaggio renews one of its most popular scooters, the 20 years one of the best-selling two wheels, the Beverly. You can choose between the 300 and the 400: which one I choose?

Piaggio has renewed its flagship in the scooter range: the Beverly now it is available in displacements 300 and 400 and in two versions each. In fact, the S version has been added to the standard, sportier and instantly recognizable for brighter colors, dynamics and for opaque inserts.

I had the chance to try them at the press presentation. On the next issue of By motorbike you will find my impressions and I have already published on the magazine website mine “Under Examination” which I obviously invite you to read.

However, while I was engaged in the test, I had a moment to be able to record this other video that I publish here and which in fact answers the question I asked myself from the beginning: “it makes sense to propose a scooter like the Beverly with two displacements so close? Perhaps the competition is not better to focus on a single intermediate displacement? It's still, which one would I choose?”

The Piaggio Beverly 300 and 400 it is one of the most popular scooters and you understand why when you try it. It has always been well done and in this new edition it is even more so. Rich in aesthetic details and subtleties, it is a high-end product and as such it gets paid. In short, Piaggio did not aim for savings and with this in mind the asking price – aligned with the best competition – it makes perfect sense.

Come sempre, I wish you good viewing!
