In Sardinia, Stintino Bosa

If you already know what the Alghero-Bosa, you can not but agree with me: It is a magnificent road. But if you do not know, well… You'll go very soon, after getting pinned this route.

When you go to the north-western Sardinia?

As always I recommend going Sardegna moments away from the super summer crowds. In the first place for the high temperature and in second place because the amount of threats on the road increases exponentially while the Careggi remains the same… A parte questo, the stretch that we propose does not have particular contraindications and weather you can walk almost always.

Distance and road

This route in North-western Sardinia it's very simple, suitable for any displacement and experience and is approximately 115 km. As always given the time needed for stops and enjoy these magnificent places. The road is well maintained in almost all points, I recommend the utmost caution species in the stretch from Alghero Bosa because it is easy to get carried away (below a short video of my eight years ago riding a ZZR1400), because there may be sudden wind gusts, because it can happen the crossing of wild animals and more easily than some idiot oncoming. Moreover, in some curves, the grip (unless they have not resurfaced recently) it's not the best. But if you travel nice quiet you enjoy this great.

What to see in this part of Sardinia?

In this area you can not miss: the beach of The Hairy, the land of Stintino, Cala de l'Argentiera (especially at sunset!), Neptune's Grotto at Capo Caccia, the promenade of Alghero cocktail hour and the coastal road AlgheroBosa you can do over and over ad nauseum.

The route soon

Sardegna… ah Sardinia. I always say: for me is heaven. This time we go to the discovery of the western Sardinian coastline from the northern tip, or the famous beach of La Hairy right in front of the island of Asinara. Coveted goal of the summer tourist crowds, is a unique show in the less frequent moments when, besides enjoying the landscape, we can also give us a nice walk in the nearby Stintino. Bring your sunscreen and avoid the weekend. Heading south we can divert to the original and less famous Cala de l'Argentiera, or point directly at Capo Caccia. Council obviously both deviations. It happened once to Argentiera in the sunset and it was a sight to jaw to the floor and goosebumps. At Capo Caccia, instead, You can not not be a descent (and then ascent) walk in the Grotta di Nettuno. Back on the scooter points directly to the charming center of Alghero which has a magical glow at sunset, the hour of the aperitif, When the promenade people stroll and stop in the restaurants. You may think you come back after you've done – as I did – several times road 105, well known to all the local riders and not. Fellow worker Alghero with Bosa and is a feast of curves with panoramic sea views. And that sea.

If you try one more opportunity on Sardinia, I recommend the report I made on one of my last trips.

If you are in Sardinia, maybe on vacation, and you should look for a bike rental to turn to Moto Rent Sardinia, they're good, serious and reliable.
