Do you want to repair for the bike alone? Go first to the Cala Mechanics

Cala Mechanics is a workshop and a school, a landing and a community. Here you learn to take care of your bike with the lessons of the landlord: Greg Moto Fuez. I participated in the inaugural course of Mechanics Base.

easy to say “I want the special” and maybe “I want it on a vintage motorbike“. Less easy, and then, when you are in the street with a smeared candle in hand and no one you have the faintest idea what to do.

Once we passed all, It is now a fate that touches more of those who choose to move with a certain style: café racer, scrambler, brat, bobber… Who prefers loose a bit’ dated and “Special”, who wants them to taste facts, who wants them to see reborn in a workshop and not on an assembly line.

For them and for the curious lights now new hope: individual course or group of Cala Mechanics.

Cala Mechanics: to always be able to

More or less what happened to my friend Gilda and many others before her, me first: at a certain point… remains walk. (Ah… the memories of my old Cibina… Even today insist in advising first experience as a motorcycle antiquated, They learn a lot of things without the fear of making mistakes)

Unlike my, however,, Guild could count on a trump card Nail: Greg di Moto Fuez, the big man had a mustache that made the special. The Gregorio garage has long been a landmark in Brianza and now, with the birth of Cala Meccanica project, it will be even more so.

Rather than simply fix his bike, Greg gave a wrench in hand to Gilda and explained what to do. The friend ferrous Alessandro, seeing the scene, He could only say, “Eureka!”. And so now the three are in cahoots with the aim of allow anyone who wants to acquire the basic knowledge to address the most simple maintenance operations or minor repairs on their bike.

Mechanical Course, not to become mechanical

The idea behind Cala Mechanics is not to provide vocational training to aspiring mechanics, ma di afford to any biker elementary instruments to cope and, soprattutto, to learn more about the bike in general and their bikes specifically.

I participated with a small group of friends at the first inaugural course and I immediately appreciated the genuine atmosphere. You do not go to class, but at workshop. Greg explains everything in great without becoming pedantic and answers questions that arise spontaneously ensure you do not lose the thread.

It leads you by the hand even in those small details that are not in the textbooks, but you learn through experience. Then you need to try it for yourself as well secured with the gestures the notion. No hurry, no pressure, with the calm of a day among friends.

At Cala Mechanics you can go to follow a group course as I did, complete with a pantry, or you can have good Gregory all to herself. Soon you will also go to get some new friends and attend some motorcycle ride and initiatives two-wheeled, so keep an eye the site, the Instagram channel e la pagina Facebook.

Or go directly to find them, I am at Busnago (MB) in via Italy 154.
