Coronavirus: we do not go in motion, we stay at home!

Do not go in motion is a small sacrifice that can make a difference at a difficult time: let gas responsibly and not leave the house!

Everyone talks about the Coronavirus and I would love to do without it. The new restrictive rules and what I see around me, however,, push me to appeal to all my friends who are motorcyclists and not: please, we stay at home.

The situation is much more serious than we have considered it so far. First, I admit that I was optimistic if not superficial on the matter, but now we can no longer joke. The infographic below was reported to me by a friend who lives in China and is taken from the Shanghai Shine application that monitors the progress of the epidemic. Photograph the situation this morning (9 March 2020) and I would say that it is quite explanatory.

The rapidity of the infection in Italy is due to our attitude and ours “low propensity” to accept restrictive rules. We must all work hard and we must all be responsible.

We will return to enjoy our bikes and our travels, but to do it as soon as possible we must now make a small sacrifice and shut ourselves up in the house, exit only if necessary.

Not just because of the risk of contagion: even a small motorcycle accident right now would further burden a struggling healthcare system facing the biggest post-war emergency.

We gas responsibly, I beg you!
