Road Map is a red box like the old Ducati tank 175 sixty years ago that went around the world. It opens like a small treasure chest to reveal a story we already know, but not so well, namely that of the Legendary World Tour Tartarini and Monetti.
This new work combines the pleasure of reading with that of discovery and viewing of audiovisual documents finally giving the dignity it deserves the adventure of the two young Italian with a little’ unconsciousness inforcarono bikes in Borgo Panigale for a long journey eleven months.
It contains the film 1 For Map 2, of which I already spoke at the exit years ago in the article "1 x map 2: the world of Tartarini and Monetti 57 years after" that you absolutely must read.
Compared to the film, however,, Road Map It goes beyond. In the DVD we are also all the original shot totally restored with a work that moves and makes me shudder.
In the excellent book are photos, excerpts of documents, conversations, recordings… We travel with them, Six decades away, thanks to their own words then, communications to the Ducati management and those aimed at home.
We are passionate about and rediscover a world that no longer exists, but who lives in our imagination of romantic motorcyclists.
