In the last two years are the boots that I used more and with satisfaction. Here are the pros and cons of the Hero of TCX boots, vintage boots, that come good on all bikes.
The Hero of TCX (See Description of www.tcxboots.com) are the boots that lately more and use with satisfaction. I'm cool, well finished and well as comfortable. They have the comfort of a touring and the look of a vintage motorcycle because they are thought to classical, period, café racer, scrambler and so, but they have a modern structure, protective and are comfortable with any bike. Ok, Summer is not fresh and winter do not take much hotter than normal amphibian skin, but the boot old school which is always good in all seasons with the advantage of being able to count on a modern construction and quality materials. The thing that matters most to me is that not only are protective waterproof thanks to an inner layer and I can say it works. I took more than a few showers and held up well. When it comes to water tightness, di waterproof, I mean of course that we can not go through a thunderstorm soaked, not that you can travel for hours under the Flood… In the case of put yourself overshoes type of rubber from these 9 Euro or a couple of trash bags (maybe not the ones for organic collection…).
I have the TCX Hero for almost two years, and when I'm out on the street are the first choice for me is that I should start with my KTM 990 Adventure with both a motorcycle under test regardless of whether or not both vintage. More use them more ruin themselves and become more beautiful that effect experienced by purchasing authentic vintage boots. The important thing is prendersene still care and soften them occasionally with OF THE SPECIAL grasso.
They are for sale from about 180 Euro and regular fit, so you do not need to abound with the size.

- Bellows behind malleolus useful for comfort, but ugly
- Tongue with Velcro on the inside of a bit’ too light and “weak”, with the time it bends a little’
