How beautiful the bones of Terence Hill?

We're Mad, a film that has become a way of saying, scenes from b-movies that have become cult doc, Also for lovers of bike… Look here

otherwise we get angry poster coverWe're Mad, how many times we learned to say, at least the rest of us grew up between the seventies and eighties? The title of a film that, also thanks to its success, has become a way of saying, so the film has been seen and reviewed in our carefree childhood. So the joke a friend told me brings to mind scenes from the movie (thanks Francesco) and I can not go immediately to revise the mythical “hunting” in motion in which improbable henchmen in suit of black leather chase, on their flaming Ducati Scrambler, an experienced Terence Hill, impregnable ace of the handlebar on a Ossa AE 250 Explorer.

About that scene and I can not prove that a certain nostalgia, but I am not referring to my childhood. The watch also the friend of the above, that is not a motorcycle enthusiast. Yet both arrive after a few moments the same statement: but as they were beautiful?

Already, how beautiful bones Terence Hill in We're Mad?

Una Ossa Explorer 250 as the one used in the movie by Terence Hill We're Mad

It was the 1973, the Spanish brand founded in 1928 the Manuel Giro was at the height of fame and, in realtà, Also not far from closing, occurred later in the 1984 in the darkest period for the motorcycle industry Iberian, even when closed Bultaco and Montesa. The EU 250 Explorer was technically a Trail, was placed midway between the true enduro and trial, specialty of the firm. It was a motion for connoisseurs; not that the Ducati Scrambler used in We're Mad from the bad guys they were not, but Bones was a choice even more sought, specialist who did a fine palate of our Terence. Riguardandola I realize that there is nothing so dramatic in appearance, yet there is a formal balance that with those wheels and those proportions should not be assumed to obtain. Its appeal, however, is not elsewhere, it is precisely in that simplicity, in the cleaning and compactness, this makes us say with a marked note of sadness “com’era bella”. A statement to the past, that sounds like the words of an old trombone nostalgic, of those who sit at the bar playing cards thinking of the breasts of the girl of the past who have never had the balls to woo. Lo so, seems so, but in reality is a regret for not having the possibility of choosing motion so. Because we are no longer able to make bikes like this? Why a motorcycle today must have a thousand technical and aesthetic complications (because more than anywhere else in the motion technology is reflected in the style). Why must we have the momentum from bombardoni 150 horses for tourism so that we are not able to make the most? (I certainly, you know that you are all of the phenomena)

Eight eight sto divagando. The concept is that what fascinates and attracts momentum as this is the purity that still manage to convey. In what we drive today – faster, più robusto, more reliable, most all – I struggle more and more to see her again and that I perplime.

Ossa Explorer m y 2015
La Ossa Explorer model year 2015. Beautiful but limited to mountaineering.

In 2009 the brand Ossa is back to talk about himself after the purchase by Jordì Cuxart which has invested in the creation of the first prototypes of innovative and compelling and then on the production. Bones today (view the website) represent a tiny niche market, but you are doing to appreciate the technical choices in the trial and, from 2012, even in its trail with a model that, at least in name, refers to the beautiful ancestor: the Ossa Explorer. This model is technically a good product and I would take account (Bones Italy proposed version 2014 a 6.340 Euro) themselves looking for a touring bike, but it is unlikely I'd buy it just to go around because they are too specialized. I find that there is a crease left empty between motion intended for large numbers and the hyper bike specialist, lack of intermediate motorbikes that make back the desire to do some skid marks or soaring to Terence Hill. And if you do not come we can not help but repeat, We're Mad, and those look like old men playing cards.

P.S.
To be fair someone who thinks like me and we are trying there. The gentleman is Umberto Borile and HERE you can read an interview that made him long ago when it introduced the production-ready version of its Scrambler.
