Live interview with Johnny Nice “The Brave Biker”

Johnny “The Brave Biker” he travels alone by motorbike, mostly looking for off-road and alternative routes. But that's not so much that makes it an interesting subject…

I have known Johnny Nice also called “The Brave Biker” a few years ago at the Gibraltar Race. At the end of the day I always interviewed the participants who arrived dusty at the bivouac and he soon became one of my favorites because he was always cheerful and with a story to tell.. One evening he was not seen arriving. We were in Moura in Portugal. After a while’ comes up with his KTM 450 all smiling. The reason for the delay? He had run out of gas and out of track. After a while’ a local police car had passed by and he had managed to convince them to take him to a gas station and then be taken back to the motorbike. With a laugh he told me: “vedi, I am haunted by luck!“.

Since then I have made this expression my own, so simple but that encompasses a whole way of approaching the world, of life, unexpected events. You face everything differently if you think about the fortunes you have and if, after all, it is considered to have luck always on one's side.

Attenzione, this does not mean jumping like a kamikaze into any danger we come across.

From here I start my interview with Johnny made live in the LIVEetto del 25 March 2021.

Before and after that adventure at the Gibraltar Race, Johnny made many others and decided to tell them through his Instagram profile and its site The Brave Biker, a window on his world as a traveler on a motorbike but even more on his way of being. A site that is worth following because with lighthearted lightness, Johnny always puts interesting ideas under your nose.

There are more of them “philosophical” put it this way, but many others as very concrete as his training, his equipment or what he packs. About, he also shared his invaluable checklist.

In this interview we talk about what he does, or traveling alone for most of the year in remote places and always in search of remote villages and off-road tracks on his KTM. But not only. We obviously also talk about that approach to life, of that motivation that you have to search within yourself, otherwise… you will never do anything.

As I often say, it is useless to have a dream if you do not turn it into a goal.

Good vision!
